1. Share your answers with a partner. Do you agree?
I shared and compared with my boyfriend. We had about half that were the same and the other half he chose differently (he chose different than, fewer, anyways, and such as). I think this is partially because we're exposed to different kinds of people and media, and also because we did not grow up or live in the same areas. He grew up and lived in Indiana and Florida, I have been in North Carolina my entire life.

2. On what basis have you selected the "correct" form?
I just selected whatever form sounded more right to me or the one I think I use the most.

3. Can what is "correct" in one situation not be "correct" in another?
Absolutely - in general this is true because depending on your audience you may need to communicate differently. Specifically for these words I could sometimes see myself using ones other than those I chose depending on the situation, for example I would say less if I'm talking about an amount or quantity (he has less milk) but if I was talking about a number of objects I would say fewer (he has fewer pieces of paper).
